Kansas City Rib Rub

This is one of Kansas City’s famous rib rub recipes. It’s yummy!

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sweet paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl mix all the ingredients together. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
Cajun Style Rib Rub

1, 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl mix together all the ingredients. Store in an airtight container for up to one month.
Memphis Rib Rub

INGREDIENTS:
4 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon cumin
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl mix together all the ingredients. Rub all of it onto both sides of ribs. Cook accordingly. Rub can be stored in an airtight container for 1 month.

3 tablespoons smoked paprika
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 tablespoons chili powder
1, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl mix together all ingredients until well blended. Rub onto both sides of ribs. Cook as directed.
